Mitava is the place to be! Only 7 km away from Lichinga and you are already in an authentic Mozambican village with all their customs and believes. What they need more? JESUS!! That’s why we visit this lovely village since 1998 and that’s why 3 of our staff members are full time involved in Mitava. What do we need more? Staff members!!
YWAM started in 20… with a program to help the vulnerable older ladies in this village. Several ladies already gave their hearts to the Lord and are now praying for their grand children.
Also we started a preschool with 25 children in 2016 and this year we have a preschool AND first grade!
God is opening the heavens above this village and many people come to the Lord! There is no church whatsoever in Mitava, that’s why this wonderful couple started a house church.
