Lichinga, Niassa is home, sweet home to a diverse and international group of missionaries who al have a heart to make God known in this forgotten province.
Our biggest base is here in Lichinga, which we use for training and seminars. Feel welcome on this high plateau, and don’t forget to bring a sweater…if it’s cold anywhere in Mozambique; it’s here!

The heart of our mission
YWAM Lichinga is the heart of our mission. It’s where it all started, and where most of our open door activities take place. Lichinga is a city of around 100,000 people, and has everything you need. In this city it’s not just YWAM’ers, but missionaries from all sorts of organisations spreading the gospel among the people.
We have everything needed to offer great trainings: A great location, wonderfull staff, and the desire to make God know. Come to Lichinga for your DTS, or a Foundations of Education training.
A few times a year we open our doors to people from all over the world to come to our Lichinga base for seminars on topics ranging from cross-cultural evangelism, to church planting.
